Crucially, we apply advanced rust prevention treatments to all surfaces, inside and out, providing long-term protection against future corrosion and preserving the structural integrity and value of your classic car for years to come.

The Journey of Restoration

Our proven, meticulous process ensures your classic vehicle is restored with the highest standards of quality and authenticity, keeping you informed every step of the way.

1. Evaluation & Planning

Every restoration begins with a thorough, hands-on inspection of your vehicle. We assess its current condition, identifying all areas requiring attention, from structural integrity to mechanical components and cosmetic finishes. We then sit down with you to understand your goals for the restoration – whether it's a full concourse rebuild, a sympathetic restoration, or specific repairs. Based on this, we create a detailed, step-by-step restoration plan and a transparent estimate, setting clear expectations and providing a roadmap for the project.

2. Disassembly

This crucial phase involves the complete and systematic dismantling of the vehicle. Every single component, from the largest body panels to the smallest screws, is carefully removed, cleaned, inspected, and meticulously catalogued. We use detailed labeling, photographs, and a comprehensive inventory system to ensure that every part is accounted for and its original location is documented. This process allows us to assess the condition of hidden areas and plan for necessary repairs or part sourcing with precision.

3. Metalwork & Body Repair

With the car stripped bare, our metalwork specialists address all structural issues, rust, and panel damage. Using traditional techniques like English wheeling and panel beating alongside modern welding methods, we repair or fabricate new panels to restore the body's original shape and strength. Chassis rust is treated and repaired to ensure structural integrity. This stage lays the essential foundation for a high-quality finish, guaranteeing precise panel gaps and smooth surfaces.

4. Mechanical & Electrical

Simultaneously or following body repair, the mechanical and electrical components undergo restoration. Engines, transmissions, differentials, suspension systems, brakes, and steering components are fully rebuilt or refurbished to original specifications. The electrical system is meticulously inspected; faulty wiring is replaced with period-correct materials, and original components like gauges, switches, and lights are restored to full working order. The goal is to ensure the vehicle functions reliably and authentically, matching its original factory performance.

5. Paint & Finish

After the bodywork is perfected, the vehicle moves to our dust-free spray booth. Here, multiple layers of high-quality primer, paint, and clear coat are applied. We carefully match original factory colors and finishes to achieve a result that is both historically accurate and stunningly beautiful. Each layer is meticulously sanded and prepared before the next is applied, culminating in a deep, glossy, and durable finish that brings the vehicle's exterior back to life.

6. Upholstery & Trim

Our upholstery specialists restore the interior to match the exterior's brilliance. Deteriorated seat foam, springs, and covers are replaced using authentic materials like high-quality leather, vinyl, or correct fabric types sourced to match the original specification. Carpets, headliners, door panels, and dashboard components are also restored or replaced. Wood trim is refinished, and chrome brightwork is replated or polished, recreating the luxurious and authentic atmosphere of the original interior.

7. Reassembly & Testing

This is where all the restored components come together. The vehicle is meticulously reassembled, following factory procedures and our detailed documentation from the disassembly phase. Care is taken to ensure every part is correctly fitted and adjusted. Once reassembly is complete, the vehicle undergoes rigorous testing, including engine startup, driving tests, and checks of all systems (brakes, steering, electrical, heating/cooling) to ensure everything functions perfectly and meets our high standards of quality and safety.

8. Delivery

The final and most rewarding step is presenting the completed, fully restored classic vehicle to its owner. We walk you through the restoration, highlighting the work performed and answering any questions you may have. Seeing the client's reaction as they see their dream car brought back to life is the ultimate satisfaction for our team. We provide documentation of the restoration process and offer advice on maintenance and care to ensure the vehicle remains in its stunning condition for years to come.
